Studio 180 Grand Opening Party!

Chelse (from Eieio & Glow Photography), along with a few other photographers, has opened a studio on Saint Paul St. called Studio 180. The location is gorgeous & is a great alternative to having your photo session outside. To celebrate, they had an awesome opening party at the beginning of June, and I was asked to provide the desserts. So I went crazy! :)

I made a fake cake for display; 8", 6", 4" tiers covered in fondant & white sparkling sugar. Fabric ribbon & crystal brooches.
Then made a "groom's cake" - 10" & 6" square vanilla tiers frosted in custard w/lady fingers around cake. Filled with fresh berries & tied with a ribbon.
I also made 90 mini cupcakes... some almond w/whipped cream frosting & sugared fruit on top. Some chocolate w/chocolate buttercream & Reese's cups on top. Some chocolate mint w/chocolate fudge frosting & Andes on top. Some almond w/cream cheese frosting.
And finally an assortment of desserts...chocolate-covered strawberries, chocolate fruit cups, chocolate-covered marshmallows, chocolate-covered pretzels, and chocolate-covered Oreos (not shown).And a picture of the whole table:
